📚 What am i reading :

🌟 This week, I've been diving into the pages of "So Good They Can't Ignore You" by the brilliant Cal Newport. And oh boy, let me tell you, it's been a mind-bender! 🧠✨

🔍 Message of the Week: Build Your Career Capital

The golden nugget I unearthed from Newport's wisdom this week? It's all about building that career capital! 🚀💼 Imagine standing at a crossroads, faced with two equally enticing career paths. The secret sauce to success lies not in the specific path you choose, but in your commitment to it. It's about investing the time to cultivate your career capital.

💡 Reflection: Be Unignorable

Success isn't picky about which door you walk through; it's about making a choice and then rolling up your sleeves. Dive deep, understand the intricacies, and become an absolute maestro in your chosen field. In simpler terms, be so darn good at what you do that they can't ignore you! 🌟💪

My Insight: By steering our focus towards sidestepping mistakes and establishing systems rather than fixating on specific goals, we enhance our chances of success in environments tailor-made for us.

Naval Ravikant: Embracing the idea that we're fundamentally ignorant and terrible at predicting the future, my strategy shifts from trying to forecast what will work to eliminating what won't. Success, in my view, is more about steering clear of mistakes than nailing perfect judgments. I've developed mental models to gauge trustworthiness and assess the genuine odds of success. It's not about setting specific goals; it's about dodging incorrect judgments. Similar to Scott Adams, I advocate for systems over goals. Use your judgment to identify environments where you can thrive, then craft a system to shape that environment, increasing your statistical likelihood of success. My aim isn't to be the most successful person globally, nor do I aspire to be. Success, for me, is about strategically rigging the game. 🎯🌐 #KnowledgeProject #NavalRavikant

🆕What’s new : Cal Newport's upcoming book on Slow Productivity has got me buzzing with anticipation! I can't wait to gain fresh insights into the art of not overloading myself but instead striking that perfect balance—doing just enough to stay fulfilled without drowning in overwhelm. 🌱✨

💪🌟 One New Thing I Tried This Week: Saying No and Standing Up for Myself

In a departure from my usual routine, I ventured into uncharted territory—I said no. Using a diet coach app for a while, I'd hit a roadblock in finding a dietitian who added value. Despite the subscription clock ticking down, I realized I couldn't ignore my discontent. Breaking the mold, I reached out to the customer care team, expressing my concerns. Surprisingly, not only did they address my issues promptly, but they also compensated me appropriately. It's a refreshing experience to stand up for oneself and receive the deserved value. Here's to asserting boundaries and achieving that much-needed peace of mind! 🌙✨ #SelfAdvocacy #Empowerment #CustomerSatisfaction
